My name is Dr. Avraham Oren, or Rami for short.

 

I am a specialist in pediatrics, for 30 years.  

​

I was in the first cycle of studies and training, of the Ministry of Health for the treatment of Attention Deficit Disorder. Since 2007 I have been involved in this important field. At my clinic in "Shimlev" over 3000 children have been diagnosed and treated, and a significant number of them still continue to come from time to time for further consultation and follow-up.

 

Immediately upon finishing the course, I noticed that attention disorder is a basket of symptoms created by five main components. Namely, distractions, difficulty organizing, difficulty working memory, hyperactivity, and impulsivity.

 

I continued to research other mental diagnoses and discovered that they were all possible  to be characterized by their own main components. This is how I created a cityAn improved and regulated diagnostic cult, more than the DSM's diagnostic method.

I continued to study at Tel Aviv University,  Continuing studies in early childhood psychiatry, as well as child and adolescent psychiatry and I received certificates in these fields.

At this point it was clearly discernible that the main components of the various mental states are actually functions of the mind. Therefore, instead of talking about the "problem", that is, about the pathology and diagnoses. Instead, you can talk to the patient about his level of functioning in each of these axes. For example, instead of talking about the problem of distractions,  We can talk about the function in the axis of attention and concentration. I continued and engaged in various fields of therapy - I completed training and received a license to treat hypnosis, and I also treat a variety of methods such as cognitive methods, games, mindfulness, training, and guidance. A variety of these methods make it possible to help my patientsLmrealize their personal potential.

I recently closed the circle on the issue of the mind when I completed training as a developmental doctor, within the Institute for Child Development in Maccabi.
